Politics, Philosophy and Economics, often known as PPE, is one of the most intellectually ambitious degree programmes available, bringing together three disciplines that together provide a comprehensive framework for understanding how human societies are organised, governed, and improved. Politics examines the exercise and contestation of power. Philosophy develops the capacity for rigorous analytical reasoning about fundamental questions of knowledge, ethics, and the nature of mind.
