About The Bath

The University of Bath is a public research university in Bath, England. Bath received its royal charter in 1966 as Bath University of Technology, along with a number of other institutions following the Robbins Report. Like the University of Bristol and University of the West of England, Bath traces its roots to the Merchant Venturers' Technical College, established as Bristol Trade School in 1856. It is ranked #150 in the 2025 QS World University Rankings.
