The discipline develops both analytical ability and practical understanding, training you to think clearly about complex organisational problems and to communicate your thinking effectively. This three-year full-time degree at the University of Exeter includes a sandwich year with a work placement and a year abroad, giving you substantial professional and international experience embedded in the programme. Students who have taken this degree have found the experience diverse, engaging and excellent preparation for what follows. Throughout the course you will study the core functional areas of business, developing skills in financial analysis, marketing strategy, operations management, leadership and business research alongside a broader understanding of the economic and social environment in which organisations operate.
