The role
What an agile coaches and scrum masters actually does, day to day.
As an Agile Coach or Scrum Master, you help teams organize their work so they finish projects without chaos and confusion. You run short daily meetings where the team tells each other what they did yesterday and what they're doing today. You help people work out blockers - the things stopping them from getting the job done - and you keep an eye on how the team is doing.
Your job is coaching and listening as much as organizing. If someone's stuck, you help them figure it out. If the team's meetings are too long or boring, you suggest better ways. You teach people about systems like Scrum and Kanban, which are just ways to keep work organized and visible so everyone knows what's happening. You're not the boss - you're the person who helps the team run smoothly and work as one unit.
