Zoology with Entomology gives you a thorough grounding in the animal kingdom while directing particular attention to the most biodiverse group on Earth: insects and other invertebrates. Zoology as a discipline encompasses the structure, function, behaviour, ecology, evolution, and conservation of animals across all taxa. Entomology, which sits within that broader frame, focuses on arthropods and especially insects, which account for the vast majority of described animal species and play roles in ecosystems that are fundamental to the functioning of the planet, from pollination and decomposition to food webs and disease transmission.
