About this course
Are you curious about the complex relationship between humans and the environment? We need scientists to respond to some of the biggest environmental challenges ranging from climate change to biodiversity, loss of species and habitats and environmental pollution. You'll develop the skills to tackle these problems and help deliver a sustainable future. You’ll study a wide range of subjects including geography and biology and can specialise in the areas you are passionate about – such as environmental impact assessment, renewable energies, environmental policy or pollution monitoring. As well as the theory and background, we’ll teach you the practical skills needed for a career in the environmental sector. All environmental sciences students will get involved in fieldwork , a central part of the course.
