At Brunel University London this four-year full-time programme includes a foundation year and a placement year, giving you both the scientific and mathematical grounding you need and direct professional experience in an engineering and business environment. You will develop general scientific and mathematical knowledge alongside an understanding of engineering designs and systems, combined with key management skills, financial management, accounting, business model development and entrepreneurship. The combination prepares you for roles that require you to speak both engineering and commercial languages fluently. Graduates of engineering with business are valued by companies that need engineers who can manage projects, lead teams, understand costs and develop the business case for technical innovation. Roles include project manager, commercial engineer, engineering manager, business development manager and technical consultant.
