Electrical and electronic engineering at master's level brings together the physical sciences of electricity and electromagnetism with the engineering disciplines that apply them to design the systems on which modern life depends. The field spans power generation, distribution and conversion, analogue and digital electronics, communications systems, control engineering, embedded computing and the integration of electronics into everything from consumer devices to industrial automation and energy infrastructure.
