Art history and visual culture is a discipline that teaches you to look, to read, and to think with images. It asks how visual objects, from ancient sculpture and medieval manuscripts to Renaissance paintings, modernist abstraction, photography, film, and digital art, have been made, understood, and contested across different historical periods and cultural contexts.
