The For Parents page is built to answer the questions parents actually ask, in the order they come up: what changed since you were at school, the four routes after GCSEs in plain terms, what the AI number on every card actually measures, questions worth asking your child and their school, and a plain English jargon list for terms your child will bring home. No account needed, and nothing on it asks your child to sign up either.

It is written to take about ninety seconds to get your bearings, with jump links at the top to skip straight to any section.

The kitchen table version of any card

Every career also has its own parent page: the identical numbers your child saw on the verdict page, re explained rather than re scored. It walks through what the exposure number means in plain terms, what the door grade says about how hard the career is to get into, and what protects the work, or an honest note that the moat has not yet been classified.

It ends with a short list of questions worth asking together, built around that specific career: what drew them to it, which parts they would keep doing even as AI takes on more of the routine work, and what a realistic first step looks like given the door grade.

Find it from any verdict page by tapping Show your parent, or go directly by adding /parent to that career's own address. The page is print friendly, so a student can hand over a paper copy.

What it will not do

It will not predict whether a specific job is a good idea for your specific child, and it will not rank careers by safety. The point of the number is to walk into the conversation with the same facts your child has, not to hand you a verdict to deliver.
