AI

Quality assurance professionals check that products are made well and are safe to use. They test everything from phones to medicines, find problems early, and help companies fix them before customers get the product.

The role

What a quality assurance professionals actually does, day to day.

As a quality assurance professional, you are the person who makes sure products are good enough for people to use. Companies want their products to be safe and to work properly, and that is your job to check. You might test anything from medicines to toys to phones - whatever the company makes.

Every day you will run tests on products to spot any problems. You will look at the numbers and records carefully to find patterns - maybe something always breaks in the same way, or certain batches have more faults than others. When you spot a problem, you work with other teams to figure out how to fix it. You will write clear reports showing what you found and what needs to change. You might also teach other people in your team how to do quality checks properly, so everyone is checking things the right way.
