The role
What a legal services director actually does, day to day.
As a Legal Services Director, you lead a whole law firm or a big department in it. You make sure the lawyers do good work, the firm follows all the rules, and clients get what they need. You decide how much money goes where, hire and mentor lawyers and staff, and think about what the firm should do next.
A typical day involves talking to lawyers about how their cases are going, meeting with important clients to understand what they need, checking that the firm is following all legal rules, and planning for the future. You lead people, manage money, solve problems, and make sure the firm stays a place where people want to work and clients trust.
