At Birmingham Newman University, this four-year, full-time programme includes a foundation year, providing a structured and supported entry point for students who are building the academic foundations needed for degree-level study. The programme adopts a multi-disciplinary approach, using insights from psychology, philosophy, sociology, and history to explore education as a serious intellectual discipline. You will examine how children learn across the primary age range, develop understanding of inclusive pedagogy and curriculum design, and engage with contemporary educational challenges and debates.
