Psychology with criminology is a pairing that brings together the scientific study of the human mind with a critical examination of crime, deviance, and the social and institutional responses to them. Psychology provides the theoretical and methodological tools to understand why people think, feel, and behave as they do, including the biological, social, and environmental factors that shape behaviour in ways that may lead to offending or harm.
