International business management is a discipline that prepares you to lead and operate organisations in the increasingly complex and interconnected global economy. All significant businesses now operate across national boundaries, and understanding the dynamics of international markets, foreign investment, cross-cultural management, global supply chains, and international trade regulation is fundamental to effective management in a world where geography, culture, and politics continue to shape commercial opportunity and risk. At the University of Sheffield, this three-year full-time programme builds a solid foundation of business knowledge, covering strategy, finance, marketing, operations, and organisational behaviour, before taking students through a year abroad that immerses them in a different academic and commercial environment.
