Business management and economics is a combination that gives you both the practical skills to understand how organisations work and the theoretical frameworks to analyse the broader economic environment in which they operate. Business management covers strategy, marketing, human resources, operations, accounting and leadership, developing the organisational and interpersonal skills that professional management requires. Economics provides the analytical tools to understand markets, resource allocation, incentives and the macroeconomic conditions that shape business decisions. Studied together, they produce graduates who can think simultaneously about the internal workings of firms and the external environment that constrains and enables them.
