Building services engineering is the discipline concerned with the systems that make buildings function as safe, healthy, comfortable, and energy-efficient environments. Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, electrical power and lighting, water supply and drainage, fire safety, communication systems, and renewable energy installation are all within its scope.
