Accounting and financial management sit at the centre of how organisations understand their own performance and make decisions about resources, investment, and risk. Accounting provides the language and discipline for recording, reporting, and auditing financial information, while financial management applies economic and analytical thinking to questions of capital structure, investment appraisal, risk management, and value creation. Together they prepare you to operate at the financial heart of any organisation. At the University of Sheffield, this three-year full-time programme is taught within Sheffield University Management School and draws on world-leading academic expertise.
